Day 1:
Welcome to Sardinia — Settle Into Seaside Bliss
Arrive in Alghero and check into our boutique seaside hotel, where coastal views and relaxed comfort set the tone for the days ahead.
After settling in, we’ll ease into the trip with a sunset stroll along Alghero’s waterfront and historic old walls — a charming introduction to this Catalan-influenced town.
We’ll wrap up with a welcome dinner at a local trattoria featuring Sardinian specialties and regional wines. It’s a relaxed, friendly evening of great food, lively conversation and that instant sense of “I’m so glad I'm here!”
Meals included: dinner
Day 2:
Old Town Wonders, Coral Traditions and a Taste of Local Cuisine
After breakfast, we’ll meet our local guide for a relaxed walking tour through Alghero’s historic center. Cobblestone lanes, sea-facing ramparts and Catalan touches set the scene as we explore the stories and culture behind this coastal town.
We’ll pause for lunch at a local restaurant to enjoy Sardinian flavors — fresh seafood, handmade pasta and regional wines — with plenty of time to chat and laugh with your fellow travelers.
In the afternoon, we’ll visit the Coral Museum and step into an artisan studio for a private demonstration, where you’ll learn how Sardinia’s iconic red coral is crafted into jewelry by hand.
The rest of the day is yours. Wander the waterfront, explore the shops, orhead back to the hotel to relax by the pool or visit the spa.
Dinner is on your own this evening. Alghero has plenty of inviting choices, from seafood and pizza to wine bars.
Meals included: breakfast, lunch
Day 3:
Coastal Bosa, Malvasia Tasting and Dinner by the Sea
After breakfast, we’ll head south along a scenic coastal road toward Bosa, a postcard-worthy village of pastel houses, riverside views and laid-back charm.
Enjoy free time to wander, shop or relax at a café — this colorful town is small, inviting and perfect for slow exploring.
From there, we’ll visit a family-run winery in the surrounding hills for a tasting focused on Malvasia di Bosa, the region’s signature varietal. Sample a few styles, enjoy light bites and learn how this wine reflects the landscape.
We’ll return to Alghero with time to relax before gathering for a seaside dinner featuring fresh regional cuisine and local wines — a friendly, flavorful end to the day.
Meals included: breakfast, light lunch, dinner
Day 4:
Cruise, Explore and Savor Sardinia's Spectacular Coastline
This morning we set out from Alghero’s harbor for a scenic boat excursion along the coastline of Capo Caccia, where limestone cliffs and turquoise coves offer unforgettable views. The pace is easy, with plenty of time to enjoy the sun, sea and fresh air.
If conditions allow, we visit Neptune’s Grotto, a striking sea cave filled with rock formations and hidden chambers. Your guide shares stories about the geology and history that make this place so unique.
While on board, we'll enjoy a relaxed lunch with Sardinian flavors and regional wine, the perfect pairing with panoramic sea views.
We return in the late afternoon with time to unwind or explore before evening. Dinner is on your own, and Alghero has plenty of easy options nearby whether you are in the mood for seafood, pizza or a glass of wine with something light.
Since we travel to a new part of the island tomorrow, this evening is a good time to pack, organize and get ready for the next chapter of your Sardinian adventure.
Meals included: Breakfast, lunch
Day 5:
Scenic Transfer to Cannigione and Seaside Welcome Dinner
This morning we say goodbye to Alghero and travel across the island to Cannigione, a small seaside town on the northeast coast and our home for the next few days. The route takes us through rural landscapes and rolling hills as we shift from one coastline to another.
Midday, we stop in a scenic inland town where you have free time to wander, enjoy lunch at a café that interests you or browse local shops. It is a relaxed break that offers a glimpse of daily life beyond the coast.
We arrive in Cannigione in the afternoon with time to check into the hotel and settle in. You might enjoy a swim, a drink by the pool or a quiet moment on your terrace before evening.
Tonight we come together for a group dinner at a local restaurant featuring regional dishes and wines from northern Sardinia. It is a relaxed introduction to Cannigione and a chance to connect with one another in a new setting.
Meals included: Breakfast, dinner
Day 6:
Market Morning and a Relaxed Afternoon by the Sea
This morning we'll stroll to the local market in Cannigione where stalls spill over with sun-ripened produce, salty cheeses and all sorts of tempting snacks. You can taste a few treats, stock up for a beach picnic or shop for handmade jewelry, ceramics and breezy accessories that feel very Sardinia.
The afternoon is yours to enjoy at whatever pace calls to you. Stretch out by the pool, stroll to a nearby beach, swim in clear water or sip something cold with your toes in the sand. The vibe is easy, sunny and very vacation mode.
In the evening we meet up for a group dinner in town with fresh local dishes and relaxed seaside energy. It is an easygoing night with good food, good company and a simple appreciation for slowing down.
Meals included: Breakfast, lunch
Day 7:
Ancient Sardinia and a Hands-On Cooking Experience
This morning we head into the countryside of Gallura to explore prehistoric sites tucked among rolling hills and wild landscapes. With short, easy walks, we visit a nuraghe and a giants tomb that offer a glimpse into the island’s ancient past and the people who built these remarkable structures.
In the afternoon we travel to a traditional farmhouse kitchen for a hands-on cooking class focused on regional favorites. You learn to prepare dishes like culurgiones, malloreddus or seadas with guidance from a local chef and plenty of flour, laughter and friendly attempts at perfect technique.
After the class we sit down for a shared meal featuring what we created along with local wine. It is a relaxed and memorable experience that brings together food, culture and connection in a simple, joyful way.
We return to Cannigione in the early evening with free time to unwind or enjoy a quiet night out.

Sailing the La Maddalena Archipelago
Today we set out on a full day boat excursion through the La Maddalena Archipelago, a protected marine area known for turquoise water, hidden coves and sculpted granite cliffs. We stop for swims, explore quiet bays and embrace the slow rhythm of life at sea.
Depending on the route, there may be time to stroll the colorful streets of La Maddalena town with its lively piazzas and inviting little shops.
On board we enjoy a casual lunch featuring local dishes and Sardinian wine while we relax in the sun and take in the scenery.
We return to Cannigione in the late afternoon. Dinner tonight is on your own and town offers plenty of easy options for a relaxed evening after a memorable day on the water.

San Pantaleo Market, Artisan Treasures & Winery Visit
This morning we head to the village of San Pantaleo, famous for its Thursday market, creative energy and dramatic granite peaks. The piazza comes alive with ceramic artists, jewelry makers, linen designers and food stalls that smell a little too good to ignore.
You have time to wander, sample, try things on and chat with artisans who are passionate about their craft. It is colorful, lively and full of one-of-a-kind finds that make perfect souvenirs or gifts for yourself.
Late morning we continue to a family-run winery in the hills of Gallura for a guided tasting of crisp Vermentino, bold local reds and seasonal specialties. Your visit includes a leisurely lunch paired with the wines, served in a scenic countryside setting that pairs well with laughter and second helpings.

Linda Beach, Your Fun Facilitator
Not long ago, I needed a big change. My life was a “Groundhog Day Parody,” with every moment blending together into a blurry blob of BLAH. I was tired of the “same old, same old” and desperately craved more passion and adventure.
So in early 2016, I took a huge leap. I sold my business, gave away nearly everything I owned, and moved to Belize (where I didn’t know a soul). Gulp…talk about terrifying! 😳
But it was so worth it! For the next couple of years, I watched the palms blowing in the breeze as I worked from my balcony.
I also started visiting "must see" places on my bucket list. I crisscrossed the world looking for adventure, talking to strangers and exploring ancient cathedrals and ruins. Along the way, I rekindled my lust for life…just like you will when you join me in Italy!
I love nothing more than to take like-minded people on retreat and watch them have the time of their life! Ready to see what grand adventures I have in store for you? Trust me, it's going to be epic! 🤩
Some love from past participants...❤️

Linda went above and beyond to make sure every detail of her Fun in Tuscany Retreat was perfect. The accommodations were amazing, the food was to die for, the activities were incredible and the community we created was well…Perfect! We are now a family and friends for life. If you have the opportunity to go on a retreat with Linda, GO. I can’t recommend her adventures enough!

I attended the Footloose and Fancy-Free Retreat in May of 2023 with 10 other women, most of whom I hadn’t met before. After the first day together we were like old friends! Linda and her assistant, Ann Marie, were so helpful, knowledgeable and organized that it made the whole experience easy. It was a whirlwind of activity where every detail was taken care of. It was the trip that I had been dreaming of for a long time and I absolutely would do it again!

Linda is an expert at putting together unforgettable retreats. I attended the Fun in Tuscany Retreat and was blown away by the attention to detail. The tours, food and wine tastings were absolutely wonderful and there were countless unexpected surprises. The friendships I made will last a lifetime (along with the magical memories). I’m already packing for Linda’s next adventure!
