The easiest option is to fly directly into Naples International Airport (NAP), which is located just a short drive from the ferry port. Upon arrival, your private driver will meet you and escort you to the port, where you'll board the hydrofoil to Ischia.

If flights into Naples are expensive or inconvenient from your home city, Rome (FCO) is an excellent alternative. Many guests choose to fly into Rome and then take a comfortable high-speed train to Naples. The journey is easy, affordable, and takes just over an hour.

Whether you arrive at Naples Airport or Napoli Centrale train station, your private driver will be there to assist with your transfer to the ferry port. Once you arrive in Ischia, one of the owners of our hotel will personally greet you at the harbor and welcome you to the island.

All participants must be women age 18 or older, and we welcome travelers of all experience levels, from seasoned adventurers to first-time international travelers.

You certainly don't need to be an athlete to enjoy this journey, but a moderate level of mobility is important.

We'll be walking through charming villages, along waterfront promenades, and on cobblestone streets that can sometimes be uneven. There are also a few hills and stairs along the way. While most days are relaxed and leisurely paced, you should be comfortable walking for periods of time and standing during tours.

The good news? This isn't a race. We travel at a comfortable pace, take plenty of breaks, and make time to stop and enjoy the scenery. Many of our guests are in their 60s and 70s and do just fine.

If there's ever an activity, walk, or excursion you'd prefer to skip, that's perfectly okay too. This is your vacation, and you're welcome to enjoy it at your own pace. Local taxis are readily available in most areas should you choose to use one.

My best advice is to be honest with yourself about your current mobility so you can feel confident, comfortable, and fully enjoy everything this beautiful island has to offer.

While we've included plenty of memorable experiences, I've intentionally built in downtime throughout the week. You'll have opportunities to linger over a cappuccino, relax by the pool, soak in the thermal waters, enjoy a leisurely stroll, or simply spend some quiet time on your own.

And remember, this is your vacation. If you'd rather skip an activity and spend the afternoon reading a book with a sea view, that's perfectly okay too.

My goal is for you to return home feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and inspired—not like you need a vacation from your vacation!

One of the wonderful things about this trip is that we'll be staying in the same hotel for the entire week, so there’s no need to pack and unpack as we move from place to place.

That said, I still encourage you to pack as lightly as possible. You'll need to manage your luggage while boarding and disembarking the hydrofoil between Naples and Ischia, and there may be a few stairs or uneven surfaces along the way.

For your comfort, I recommend bringing:

• One suitcase no larger than 24 inches (including wheels and handles)

• One smaller bag, such as a backpack, tote, or carry-on-sized bag for your daily essentials

Once you arrive at the hotel, you'll be able to settle in and enjoy the island without worrying about moving your luggage again until departure day.

October is one of my favorite times to visit Ischia. The summer crowds have thinned, the sea is still warm, and the weather is typically mild and comfortable.

Daytime temperatures generally range from the upper 60s to mid-70s, while evenings tend to be cooler, especially near the water. You'll want to pack layers, including a light jacket or sweater for the evenings.

While October is often sunny and beautiful, there's always the possibility of an occasional rain shower, so a lightweight rain jacket or small travel umbrella is a good idea.

The thermal pools remain wonderfully warm this time of year, making October an ideal season to enjoy Ischia's famous spa culture.

Of course! You may choose either a double-occupancy room with two separate beds or a private single-occupancy room for an additional fee.

Many of our guests travel solo and choose to share a room with another woman. If you select the double-occupancy option, I'll do my best to match you with a compatible roommate based on the information you provide during registration.

If a suitable roommate is not available by the time registration closes, you'll be upgraded to a private room and charged the applicable single supplement.

Yes, it's a good idea to bring a little extra spending money for gratuities and personal expenses.

Unlike in the United States, tipping in Italy is generally more modest and less expected. For this journey, I recommend budgeting approximately €75–€100 for tips throughout the week, depending on your personal preference.

You may choose to tip local guides, drivers, hotel staff, restaurant servers, or others who provide exceptional service, but gratuities are always voluntary.
